2018년, 아르헨티나 산티아고의 한 경찰서에 다급한 신고전화가 걸려왔습니다.

그는 50여 마리의 소를 키우던 한 농장 주인이었는데요.

신고를 받고 출동한 경찰들의 눈앞에 정말 믿을 수 없는 광경이 펼쳐졌습니다.

소 10마리의 사체가 발견된 것인데요.

그런데 더 충격적인 것은 이 중 4마리는 눈알이 적출되어 있었고, 또 다른 3마리는 생식기가 잘린 상태였습니다.

납득하기 힘든 또 다른 미스터리는, 죽은 소들 주변에서 혈흔이 단 한 방울도 발견되지 않았다는 점입니다.

게다가 소들의 사체가 절단된 부위를 보면, 마치 레이저로 정교하게 자른 듯 너무나 깨끗했다고 합니다.

당시 사건을 조사했던 수의사 렌소 카펠리니는, 평생 수의사로 일하면서 이렇게 끔찍하고 이상한 사건은 처음이라고 밝혔습니다.

그래서 정말 이것은 외계인의 소행이라고 밖에 설명이 안 되는 것인데요.

그런데 더 놀라운 것은, 당시에서 4년 전 같은 지역의 다른 농장에서도 이 사건과 너무나 흡사한 사건이 일어났다는 점입니다.

2014년에는 소가 아닌 돼지의 머리 등이 절단되는 끔찍한 사건이 일어났었다고 하는데요.

그리고 이 사건 역시 현장에서는 한 방울의 혈흔도 발견되지 않았다고 합니다.

4년 사이에 두 번이나 발생한 가축 절단 사건은 대체 그들은 무슨 목적으로 이런 짓을 벌였던 것일까요?

He was the owner of a farm with 50 cows.
